Minor Works Contract UK — Sample Template

Parties Involved:

Contractor: XYZ Building Services Ltd.
Address: 123 Construction Road, London, SW1A 1AA

Client: ABC Property Owner
Address: 456 Elm Street, London, SW2 4XY

Scope of Work:

The contractor agrees to carry out minor refurbishment works at the client’s property located at 789 Baker Street, London, NW1 6XE, including plastering, painting, and small repairs as detailed in Schedule A.

Terms and Payment:

The total price for the work shall be £5,000, payable in stages: 50% upfront and the remaining upon completion, subject to approval. Payment shall be made via bank transfer within 7 days of invoice receipt.

Contractor Responsibilities:

The contractor shall perform the work diligently, in accordance with applicable UK regulations and standards, using materials of satisfactory quality, and shall ensure health and safety compliance throughout the project.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
